You are probably thinking that Pinterest exists for hobbyists or those who want to keep track of recipes. You would be correct. But I have found it very valuable as a building administrator whose projects often involve redesigning an office or learning space. I pin images from web sites to project boards. Doing this to keep track of furnishing  or design ideas is infinitely better than tossing a bunch of links into a folder or "notebook".  Pinterest has a huge data trove to search through for topic-specific images to pin. And if you add the button extension to your browser you can pin directly to your board when you encounter something serendipitously.

You can "follow" the boards of others. More importantly for a school project you can also share a private board with other team members.
If your project is visual, pin it!
