Chris Wejr, Principal, James Hills Elementary, Langely, BC - At his blog, Principal Chris Wejr describes the positive benefits yielded by the FaceBook page he established for his school: Things have gone extremely well with our Facebook Page – parents love it.  We have grandparents and other relatives, former students, and community members (businesses, reporters, etc) that “Like” the page and therefore get constant updates on their Facebook Page.  It is THE best way to showcase the great things that are happening at our school. Chris manages the school Facebook pages where he frequently posts about the cool things happening at James Hill.

Leveling my School's Facebook Page

"
you need to post every day to your Facebook page to keep your page showing up in people’s feeds. The more you post, the more opportunities you are taking to share your school’s story. She also encouraged using Facebook Live, something I have never attempted to do, but is on my list of things to try in the next couple of weeks.
