About the Collection

This collection targets prospective and current school building administrators, but has useful resources for all educational leaders. Becoming a Digital School Administrator contains a rich variety of digital practices by principals and other building admins. Technology leadership through modeling is a dominant theme of this course.  As Stephen E. Anderson and Sara Dexter point out, "The literature providing recommendations for technology leaders’ skill sets usually asserts that principals should learn how to operate technology and use it whenever possible for carrying out their own duties, especially to communicate with others."

A unique feature is that the primary course materials originate from veteran building administrators who "walk the talk".

If you have resources that would improve this course, please contact me so that I can keep the collection current and share the very best practices with others. It is my hope that the course will continue to evolve with this sort of collaboration.
